Our current production time can range from 2 1/2 to 4 weeks, depending on the size of your order. Small orders, consisting of three or fewer cabinets, will normally take at least 2 1/2 weeks of production time. Large orders, consisting of four or more cabinets, will normally take at least 4 weeks of production time. If placing an order for a full kitchen, which is 15 or more cabinets, our production time can increase to at least 5 weeks. Production time does not include shipping and delivery time. Shipping and delivery time can range from one to eight business days, after your order has left our woodshop, depending on your proximity from us in California.  

No. Swedeboxx is a ready-to-assemble cabinet manufacturer which means all of our cabinets will arrive flat-packed and will require assembly and installation at the project site. We do provide the necessary assembly manuals to aid with assembly but if you/your installer have any questions please reach out to us at hello@swedeboxx.com.

Yes! All of our cabinets are made to exact Ikea specifications. The drilling pattern inside of our cabinets is also an exact replica therefore our cabinets are compatible with their Utrusta hinges and Maximera drawer glides.

This depends on the project installation. If you are filling in gaps as a result of supply chain delays and installing Swedeboxx cabinet frames next to Ikea's Sektion cabinet frames, we recommend using Ikea's Sektion Suspension Rail. Our rail clips are compatible and adjustable with Ikea's hanging rail to provide a seamless application next to an Ikea Sektion cabinet.

If your entire project will consist of Swedeboxx cabinets, we recommend purchasing our Suspension Rail system for a simpler installation process.

Yes. We provide all of the necessary dowels, connection clips, rail hanging clips, and screws to assemble your Swedeboxx cabinet frame. We also provide assembly manuals with every order along with the necessary hex tool to lock all cabinet sides together. Swedeboxx does not supply Ikea's adjustable Sektion Legs, hinges, or drawer glides. Those will need to be purchased through Ikea. Although our cabinets are compatible with Ikea's Utrusta Shelves, we can make adjustable shelves at our woodshop as well.

Although we do not supply wood or plastic shims with your Swedeboxx order, we highly recommend purchasing wood or plastic shims at your local hardware store to facilitate installing your Swedeboxx cabinet. Wood or plastic shims are common components used to install cabinetry. They help level cabinetry to the floor and to the walls. They are not always needed for base cabinets or tall cabinets, but we highly recommend shims to be used for leveling and installing wall cabinets and fridge cabinets.

Yes, however, it depends on a few factors. For custom-size requests, please email us at hello@swedeboxx.com. A Swedeboxx team member will work with you to discuss the custom size needed and whether it is possible for us to make it.

Although Ikea's supply chain issues are unpredictable, we understand that you may be able to source your cabinets through Ikea at an unexpected time. Our cabinet boxes are made-to-order therefore we do allow a one-week period from the time your order is submitted to make changes to your Swedeboxx order without any change or restocking fees. Any changes or cancellations made to your Swedeboxx order after this one-week period will result in a 15% restocking fee withheld from your refund. The balance of the order will then be refunded in 3-5 business days.  

Although we try our very best to ensure that your order arrives in the pristine condition that it left our woodshop, we do understand that issues may occur during shipping and delivery. Being proactive at the start is the best way to resolve potential issues. No matter how bad the shipment may look, please accept your delivery from the freight company, take pictures of the damages, and email them to us at hello@swedeboxx.com as soon as possible. Notifying us of damages within 1-2 business days is highly recommended to ensure we can assist you with resolving these issues in a timely manner. If you are unable to properly inspect your delivery within 1-2 business days, please email us to let us know.

After the cabinet order has shipped out of our shop, Swedeboxx does not accept any returns or exchanges.
